The Wager by Rachel Van Dyken

The release for "The Wager" by Rachel Van Dyken will be at midnight October 1st. If you don't know about this series you best start reading now. The first book in the series is "The Bet". These books are probably the best of the YA Romance novels yet. The are fresh and fun. Rachel Van Dyken is one of the few author's that I have yet to be disappointed by. I could never get enough of it. You wont know what to do with yourself in this series. It's one of the funniest books you will probably read and Grandma Nadine will have you cramping over in tears with her crazy antics and hair brain ideas. Got to love her. So don't be afraid to try a new author that will surly capture your heart from the first chapter.

Breaking Nova (Nova #1) by Jessica Sorensen

A must read this year!!!

First off I want to say that I love Jessica Sorensen's books. She is one of many of my favorite authors and I think her writing is outstanding and her stories are exceptional and real. If you have yet to read any of her books I will tell you now to start reading. I have yet to be disappointed in any of them. From "The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden" to "The Redemption of Callie and Kayden" and "The Secret of Ella and Micha" to "The Forever of Ella and Micha". She is one writer that actually touches home with a lot of tough subjects; from child abuse, rape, alcoholic parents, suicide, depression, anxiety, survival, drugs, self worth, and trying to find your place in the world. Her books give you an insight of the reality that some kids and teens live with on a daily basis.

With the story of Nova Reed and Quinton Carter I was highly expecting a different turn out when it came close to the end of the story, but I was highly mistaken and shocked to say the least. Not that it was a bad thing in any way! I just tend to read a lot and always seem to find myself guessing the ending before it happens, and in most cases I am right on the ending, but not in this case. I was completely wrong and for that I have to apologize to the author for pretty much calling her predictable, when clearly she was not in any way with this book. Now on to the review:
Nova Reed is broken inside. Her anxiety get's the best of her and her need to control the world around her has a lot to do with the turns of events that made her world turn upside down and for many reasons. When she was twelve years old she watched her father die and found her boyfriend Landon to suicide. When she returns home form her first year at college with her "best" friend Delilah Peirce she finds herself wondering if it was such a great idea to come back tot the one place that has caused her so much pain in the first place.

Quinton Carter rather be dead or high then deal with the reality that is his life. When his father basically kicks Quinton out of the house he takes up refuge with his cousin Tristan, even after everything that happened between them.

When the two finally meet you think it will be an instant connection, but the two are so highly broken that it just seems that putting them together would be wrong. It would be like two opposite puzzle pieces trying to fit together, it just doesn't work. And two broken individuals don't fix each other. And that's why I love this story. It's not a happily ever after, even if I love them, it's real and raw and pure. I feel like this story belongs to one of my friends from high school. That's what makes it great.

If you have yet to pick up or download your copy of "Taming the Playboy" by MJ Carnal. I posted the link below:

This book seriously brought me to tears. You will get mad at the characters and you will laugh and feel happy and sad and get angry. But that's what a good book needs, all the emotions that need to come out. I also love that MJ Carnal brought in one of the most beautiful people in the world to be her cover models, fitness model and Shredz athlete, Alex Michael Turner. He truly is an inspiration to many and anti-bully advocate.

Caught Up In You (Loving on the Edge Series #4) by Roni Loren

I read this book in August and realized I had never put my review on my blog....
So here it is LOL....

Spoiler Alert**

As some of you may know that Roni Loren is known for her BDSM Romance novels, which by the way I love!! ;)

Watch out fictional boyfriend's theirs a new Dom in town.

HELLO, Wyatt Austin!!! ;)

Reading about Wyatt and Kelsey's story I was kind of expecting the same thing. Boy meets girl, girl and boy have a fight or girl gets kidnaped...so on and so forth. What I was not expecting is kind of a role reversal in this book. I always wanted a Domme to come into a book that I was reading and Roni delivered for me. But please do not get your hopes up, Wyatt does not submit to Kelsey in any way. Wyatt actually adapts their relationship, allowing Kelsey to be who she is with out having to completely give up on what she needs.

That's one of the reasons that I love this story. Wyatt was willing to make changes to be with Kelsey and not have her change who she was for him.

They both push limits and boundaries with one another and still seem to come out on top. If you have not read any of Roni's books please don't hesitate to get one. I you loved "Fifty Shades of Grey" or not because you thought the writing was not that great, you wont be disappointed in the series.

Gabriel's Redemption (Gabriel's Inferno Trilogy)

Many of you may know that the release date for Gabriel's Redemption is on December 3, 2013 and I am extremely excited to be one of the many people to be reading and reviewing this book for an amazing author such as Sylvain Reynard. For those of you have not yet read the series you still have time to catch up for the release of the third and I'm guessing (but sadly disappointed) final book in the series.

When I started reading heavily two years ago, Gabriel's Inferno was the one I simply could not forget. Even though it's been well over a year since I first read the book and the second one, Gabriel's Rapture, I seem to find myself returning to it multiple times over the past few months. Certain parts in the book just seem to latch on to your soul and take hold and never really seem to let go. That's why I can not wait to read the next book, to find out what Sylvain has in store for our beloved Julianne and handsome Professor Gabriel.

I also have been loving the new and fun way that some people have come up with to introduce the characters and story line with new viewers. On twitter, you can follow the story of Julianne Mitchell and Prof. Gabriel Emerson through @GabrielEmersonsHub. This is a new and fun way of introducing the story from a different point of view. Most people who just don't have the passion to sit down and actually read a book can find this way of presenting the story to viewers in a whole new light. I find this way very entertaining on so many levels. Not only do you get first person point of view but you also can look at the story in a new light.

If you find the time to pick up a copy of the Gabriel's Inferno Trilogy you will not be disappointed in these great stories.

I hope every one has a wonderful and fantastic weekend.

My Unexpected Forever by

Spoiler Alert!!!

Lord help me that I think I loved this book more then "My Forever Girl". I always have loved inked men and drummers, so this story was a wet dream for me. Everything about this book was amazing.
I love Harrison and Katelyn together, they are two opposites that seem to just fit like missing pieces to a puzzle.

From the moment Harrison met Katelyn he just had to be around her, even if it was just mowing her lawn. Katelyn was trying to find every excuse in the book not to be with Harrison, all the way down to his very sexy tattoos. Harrison knew Katelyn was still morning the death of her husband, Mason, still Harrison was willing to try and be with her even with all of the hang ups she was dealing with.

Then someone from Harrison's past threatens to ruin the relationship and trust that they built together as a couple.
Does Katelyn's love for Harrison overcome his past regret's or does Katelyn feel like it's too much for to handle?

"Everything I thought about you was wrong. I had a list a mile long of reasons why we wouldn't work. First with your tattoos, I assumed the worst. Then there was the woman at the bar when we were in Florida. When I saw that happen, I thought there was no way I'd be able to trust someone like you and wondered how Josie was doing it. I was so standoffish, and yet you come over twice a week to mow my lawn, even though I never asked you to. I kept saying we couldn't e together and now that we are, I can't find a reason for us not to be. If anything, you should hate me for being a bitch to you." - Katelyn
